To be a successful affiliate marketer you do not need a secret formula. Every affiliate marketer would love to find the secret formula to earning money easily. However, it is a bit more complicated than that. The fact is it takes dedication, hard work, proven tactics, and plain good marketing that has been used for many years.

Method #1. For each affiliate program you have, you will need to have a unique web page. The web page should be focused on one service or product and not many different ones. Website hosting is not very expensive so do not skimp in this area.
Include on each affiliate web page, detailed information about the service or product you are highlighting, how to use it, and what the product can do for your prospects. Get testimonials from satisfied customers for use on your website along with their name and photo. You will need to have their permission to post their information to your affiliate website.
Write informative articles with an attention getting headline to grab the attention of your prospects. Your articles should include product highlights and different ways the product can be used. Bold the important keywords and keyword phrases in your article. Add the articles as an additional page on your affiliate website. Have a one or two line attention getting sentences along with the article link on your home page.
Method #2. It is a widely known fact that sales are usually not closed on the first visit. It usually takes about seven contacts or visits to your affiliate website to close a sale. To entice your visitors back to your website, offer a free report and have the sign up form near the very top of your affiliate home page. You will need an autoresponder preloaded with follow-up messages to go out every few days to your visitors that signed up for your special report.
The follow-up messages should have information directed towards specific reasons they should purchase your service or product. They should hear how using your service or product would make their life easier and more enjoyable. Convince your readers they will be missing something very important if they do not purchase your service or product. By not making a sales pitch they will be convinced over time to purchase your product. You will be reminding them every few days they saw the service or product on your affiliate website in which they were very interested in.
Method #3. You must generate targeted traffic to your affiliate website. Your visitors must be interested in your service or product or they will disappear very quickly.
Locate e-zines and publications that are targeted towards your service or product. Write articles or reports about your product and submit them to be published. You should include informative details about your service or product, how to use the product, and how it will improve the reader's life or make life easier.
Strive to write several articles each month with about 400 - 500 words in length. The more articles you have posted the more readers will be learning about your service or product. Only about 1% of people reading your articles will purchase your product. The more articles you write and the more e-zines and article directories you submit to, the greater your chances of making sales.
The above methods only take some of your time and are quite simple for you to do. You already know your service or product, so put the facts down in writing and post the articles. Set your goal now and reap the benefits very soon.
