The truth is, about 3 out of every 4 people who try their hand at affiliate marketing will end up making no money or actually lose money in the process. The two main reasons why are they either never take action or don't stick with them long enough to make any progress. They jump from technique to technique because they don't make $1000 from their hour of work. They also buy all sorts of affiliate marketing scams that only enrich the people selling them and leave the buyer more confused then when they started. There is no magic bullet to getting rich in this line of work. Now for the good news!!!!! It is possible to make good money, even life altering money, using affiliate marketing. The thing that you have to keep in mind is that just like any other job or skill, it does take time and training to achieve the level of success that you desire. Have you ever walked into a lawyers office and applied to become a lawyer without schooling or passing the bar. Probably not. That is the mindset people have coming into affiliate marketing. They sit down at their computer with their credit card in hand and want to buy the first affiliate marketing scam that they can come across. They pay their money, maybe do one or two things and expect cash to start flooding into their bank accounts. When that doesn't happen, they go buy the next most hyped affiliate marketing scam and do the same thing. Eventually, they figure that the whole thing is a scam and they give up and move on without ever learning what it takes to be successful.
The point that i'm trying to get across is this, if you want to be successful at affiliate marketing learn the basics. Never stop learning and trying new things. Don't give up if you don't make $1000 on your first day or your first go around. Do you really think that the people that are making $1000's a day just sat down at their keyboard and started printing money? They started from the same exact spot that you are in right now. But guess what, these same people are out there and are willing to share their knowledge on what it takes so you don't have to make as many mistakes as they did along the way.
