I'm going to try and make this review of Affiliate Junktion as accurate as possible, keeping it short and to the point, sharing just my experiences with the program.
The first thing that you'll notice is their promise of being able to make at least $150 a day, within 30 days of using the program. This alone was enough to make me interested, but I couldn't help but wonder how much it cost, even though they said that it was free to join.
I was surprised to find out that it was actually free, something that I didn't expect. After I signed up, I received instructions in 3 steps, along with a video that showed exactly what to do. Basically, you sign up for a domain with a hosting company, and then Affiliate Junktion will create a web site for you. It cost about $60 to register the site for a year, but Affiliate Junktion gives you a $75 credit for signing up, so instead of paying them I actually made $15. Pretty cool.
Once you have your domain name, you send Affiliate Junktion your site information, and they will create a web page and send it to you. Along with the site, I received 8-step instructions, along with a video tutorial showing exactly what to do, of how to upload the site and customize it with my unique affiliate link. After that, the last step is to advertise your site to drive traffic to it. They suggest you advertise with Yahoo, and even give you $120 in advertising credits to get you started. So far, I have not paid anything for Affiliate Junktion.
Now, can you really make $150 a day with this? The way that you make money is by referring people to their site. So when someone visits your site and clicks on your unique affiliate link, you will receive a commission if they sign up on Affiliate Junktion's website. Once someone types in their name and email and hits the sign up button, you receive between $2-$5. They start at $2 and increase it as you refer more and more people to their site.
I've been using Affiliate Junktion for 16 days, and so far I am making about $85 a day. Not quite as much as what they advertised, but still extremely good money. At this point I am only advertising with Yahoo, I imagine that I will receive more traffic once I start using Google as well.
To summarize, I wouldn't call Affiliate Junktion a scam. They claim that it is free, and they were telling the truth. You will make decent money using the program, but don't expect to become rich right away.
